Step Back in Time: Our Nostalgia Book Fair Fundraiser!
Remember that feeling? Walking into school and finding a classroom transformed overnight into a magical book land. For many of us, our love for book shopping emerged right there—amongst the stacks of Goosebumps, the first Harry Potter hardcovers, and the latest Nancy Drew mysteries. It was the one time of year when your school felt like a treasure trove filled with the most exciting books, animal erasers, wacky pens, and posters you couldn’t wait to cover your bedroom walls with.
We are bringing that “magical book land” back! Join us for a 1990s & 2000s scholastic-themed Book Fair to celebrate the joy of reading and help us spread that book-buying cheer once again.

What’s included: Every paid admission includes a free printed photo strip from our 90s-themed school photo booth! It’s the perfect chance to recreate those classic school portraits with your friends and family.
Although this event is catered to those who want to relive the 1990’s & 2000’s scholastic-themed fairs, this event is for all ages!
What to Expect
We’ve curated a fantastic mix of local vendors and creators. You’ll find a wide variety of special throwback books to satisfy your nostalgia, alongside plenty of new releases for your current TBR pile.
The best book fairs always had the excitement of non-book items, and we will too! We have some amazing local artisans that will also be selling their items. It’s the perfect way to find that modern-day equivalent of the “wacky pen” or “cool poster” you loved as a kid!

Your Impact: 100% of the funds raised from admission fees and the 50/50 draw go directly to the Charlottetown Library Learning Centre Foundation!
A Note on the Collection: While this book fair is catered toward offering more adult books, we will have some children’s authors and a few throwback treasures from childhood to browse through as well. Between the nostalgia and our local artisans, there is truly something for everyone!
